Many these days think IT is their big ticket into 6 figure salaries, working
from home, and lax schedules. They also think that it is an easy road to
follow. In this article (the first of many), I'll give 10 solid reasons to think
twice before making the dive into IT. If, after reading this, you still want to
be in IT, then maybe you're meant to be an IT ninja after all.
What differentiates successful individuals from the average joe? Many times, it's the ability to not only work harder, but to keep their eyes open for new opportunities. Don't become stagnant. Work for what you want, each and every day. If you find yourself not making forward progress, step back and evaluate where you derailed. Regroup, plan, and get to work.
